Week 1 - Week Beginning Monday 20th April

Hello everyone, welcome back to home learning! We hope you had a lovely Easter break! As we are now beginning our new term we now have a new NICER topic. This is 'Buckets and Spades'. Throughout this new challenge pack we will be learning all about the seaside.

We will be aiming to learn the answers to the following questions throughout the term...

  1. Where in the UK do we find beaches?
  2. What is it like at the beach and can you describe the geographical features?
  3. How is the beach/coast different to where we live?
  4. Why do people go to the beach? What is it like at a beach where people go on holiday? (In Europe)
  5. When did people start going to the beach in the past? How was it similar/different?

We will be setting Maths, English, Phonics, Science and NICER work for you each week. In Science we are now also beginning our new topic 'Seasonal Changes' and we will be exploring the four seasons and the differences between them.

Please maintain daily contact and keep sending us pictures of your children's work through Class Dojo when possible. Please continue to keep all completed work for our return to school. Keep in touch!

Many thanks, Miss Evans (1NE) & Miss Houlston (1JH)
