Birchen Coppice Primary Academy

We are so lucky to have such an extensive Forest school area at Birchen coppice we invite children to step into the enchanting world of Forest School at our primary school, where nature becomes the ultimate classroom. 

Nestled among towering trees and flourishing foliage, our students embark on a journey of discovery, creativity, and hands-on learning. Guided by experienced educators, they explore the wonders of the natural world, building shelters, identifying plants and animals, and engaging in imaginative play. Through this immersive outdoor experience, children develop resilience, teamwork, and a profound connection to the environment, laying the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity and stewardship.

Every child will have the opportunity to take part in our forest school provision, whether they are in nursery or year 6 we consider out door learning to be a necessity in the whole of each child's education
