Nail varnish, make up and jewellery is not acceptable. Children may wear small, plain stud earrings which must be removed for swimming and also preferably for PE lessons. If children cannot yet remove earrings they can be covered with a plaster or tape provided by home as a temporary measure during PE lessons.
