MONDAY - Read 📚 or Listen to the story 'The Three Little Pigs' retold by Patricia Seibert and then make a story map by drawing pictures or use the story sequence sheets below. A story map helps you remember the sequence of the story. When you have made your story map use it to retell 'The Three Little Pigs' (Please see the pictures below for some story map ideas)
TUESDAY - Let's get creative and make a 'New Home' card for the Three Little Pigs. Post your card to school; Birchen Coppice Primary Academy, Woodbury Road, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY11 7JJ. I will pass on your cards to the 'Three Little Pigs' and you might even receive a note back!

WEDNESDAY - Let's pretend to be the Wolf from our story, 'I'll Huff and I'll Puff and I'll blow your house down!' You will need a straw and some paint to produce 'Straw Blowing Art'. (see pictures below)

THURSDAY - Let's Investigate! Can you test the strength of the 'Three Little Pigs' choosen house materials. If you don't have straw you could use some drinking straws! If you don't have brick you could use large stones or Lego bricks! (Investigation activity sheet below)
FRIDAY - Let's be mathematicians! Counting to 10 sheet. Can you count the characters and objects from the 'Three Little Pigs' and write the number in the circle. If you are enjoying being a mathematician you can play 'I Spy Counting to 10'. Can you count how many of each picture you can see? When you have counted write the number on the recording sheet. (see above for all Mathematician sheets)
