MONDAY - Read 📚 or Listen to the story 'The Little Red Hen' retold by Carol Ottolenghi. Then draw a picture of one of the characters and write their name OR draw a story map to help you remember the story sequence. (see pictures below)

TUESDAY - Let's develop our fine motor skills by completing one or more of the following jobs. Can you find all the differences in 'Spot the Difference', Little Red Hen cutting and sticking or Little Red Hen mazes. (see Sheets below)

WEDNESDAY - Let's use our knowledge of rhyme to match the pictures on the grains to the rhyming sacks, be careful there are some red herrings! (see sheets above)

THURSDAY - Let's get creative and make a 'Little Red Hen' (see below for ideas)

FRIDAY - Let's be Mathematicians! You will need 5 plates (1 for every character in the story) and 10 pieces of bread (use Lego blocks OR pretend food) Can you share the bread between the 5 plates? How many pieces of bread will they have each? Do they all get the same amount? Can you share the bread differently? Can you record the different ways by drawing?
