This week's activities are based on the story 'Little Red Riding Hood'.

Listen to the story below read by Mrs Farnsworth! 

MONDAY - Read 📚 or listen to the story 'Little Red Riding Hood'. Then gather together objects that will help you remember the story (a wolf picture, something red, Granny's glasses, a house, play food etc.) and make a story basket or box. 

TUESDAY - Poor Granny is not very well in 'Little Red Riding Hood'. Let's get creative and make 'Get Well' card and some flowers to cheer her up! (See ideas below)

WEDNESDAY - Let's use our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) skills to make a basket for Little Red Riding Hood. She needs some way of carrying all the treats for Granny! (See Science Sheet below) 

Questions; What does a basket need? How big does the basket need to be? Which material is the strongest? How could you make it stronger?   

THURSDAY - Let's get creative and make your favourite character or characters from the story 'Little Red Riding Hood' (See Ideas below)
