RESOURCES NEEDED FOR ACTIVITY TOMORROW

While on your daily exercise collect some different LEAVES and TWIGS!

THURSDAY - You will need the LEAVES and TWIGS that you collected yesterday! First take some leaf rubbings using crayons or coloured pencils. Then use the leaf sheet below to see if you can identify which type of tree each leaf comes from.

Next let's be Mathematicians and count the natural objects. How many leaves have you collected? How many twigs have you collected? Can you write the numbers? Did you collect more leaves or twigs? How do you know? Can you sort the natural objects by length? Which object is the shortest/longest? Can you make a pattern using your natural objects?

FRIDAY - The Bog Baby's habitat is the pond. Let's look at another creature that makes the pond its habitat. Can you guess which creature it is? YES you're right a FROG. I have included below a PowerPoint presentation to tell you about the life cycle of a frog. Can you show me the life cycle of a frog using your creative skills? (see ideas below)
