Week 4 - Week Beginning Monday 22nd June
Good morning,
This week we are changing the way we are sending work so that you have more choice of the activities that you carry out.
We have made a 'Number Bingo' and a 'Literacy Bingo'.
These have ten days of activities (so 2 school weeks) each.
Each morning you can choose one task to do (Either Maths or Literacy or one of each if you would like) and then send us pictures of what you did and cross off the task.
Each day we will send out an additional Reading or phonics task for you to do if you would like.
We are in the process of making some books that your children can read online and be interested in reading.
Please continue to send us your work so that we can see the fabulous learning you are doing and have daily contact.
This week Mrs Farnsworth will be sending the texts to you for contact because both me and Miss Tunley are at school, so please respond if you see a message from her.
Today, please can you choose an activity to do from one of the sheets and send us a picture of your work.

Explore either the Phase 2 or the Phase 3 section of the website (it is free currently) and practise your phonic skills.

TUESDAY:
Today you are going to practise reading and writing your tricky words:
He she we me be you all are her was they my
Can spot them in your favourite book?
Can you identify the letters in the word? (Sing the alphabet to remind yourself of the letter names.)
Write the words.
Choose one word and put it in a sentence. Say your sentence then write it.
WEDNESDAY:
Today, we would like you to practise your handwriting.

And choose 1 letter Family. Practise forming those letters listening to the rhyme and following it. Then, see if you can think of a word with some of those letters in and write the word or even a sentence.
