Week 1
Week 1: Complete the home learning booklet sent out. Select a Maths and English activity to complete from the booklet per day. Please don't try to complete this all in one day! Try to read with your child every day and make use of the websites providing free educational games (list below) as these will enable your child to complete phonics and maths activities in a fun and independent way. If you complete the home learning booklet earlier than the end of the first week then below are some additional tasks that you can complete with your child.
- Practise writing the days of the week
- Practise writing numbers to 100 in numerals and words
- Draw your own superhero and describe what superpowers he/she has. Can you write a story with your character in?
