Andy Goldsworthy is an artist who makes art from pieces of natural materials. You can find out more about him here https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zs87tfr. If we were in school we would be taking a closer look at his work and creating some pieces of our own.
So, I'd like to set you a challenge!
Can you create a piece of art made from natural/outdoor materials?
You can use anything natural such as leaves, twigs, grass, sticks, stones etc. You may want to create a pattern, picture or even a character from your favourite book. I have put some examples on here to inspire you. Can you spot the Gruffalo one?
Myself and my daughter will be completing the task too and I will post our images on here when they are complete. We would both love to see your creations so perhaps you could take a picture and send them to me on Class Dojo. I can then make a gallery of your work on here.
